Ileana + Paco: Engaged

Ileana and Paco’s love is like a mist that settles on you, its like a well-worn shoe that fits just right, their love is like a warm blanket on a cold dreary night. Their love is true. inspiring. forever.

Her Story: Paco and I met at work, we actually were candidates for the same position, he was overqualified, and I got it, but he was able to get another position at the company…and on the first day he walked by my office and did a double take. We had an interesting first conversation, slowly became friends, and began dating later that summer. I love him because he completely balances me out- I’m a stressed out type of person, and he is so relaxed and always sees the good in all situations- and he’s a great guy. In many ways, he’s shown me to concentrate on myself and just have fun. We continued dating, and grew even closer, and even switched to our next company together. About two and a half years later, he proposed, on Valentine’s Day over dinner. I ordered the most expensive Caesar Salad of my life, because it came with a ring box, and he got down on one knee and there we had it! My wishes had come true! We’re getting married next July 3, in Arlington, Virginia.

His Story: Ileana and I met at work in May of 2006. When I first met Ileana I had a special feeling about her right away. After a few months of a friendship we both noticed our feelings start to escalate for one another and began dating. Our first week of dating started with a business trip to Puerto Rico. We had to hide the fact that we were dating to our colleagues. The funny thing is that we did so well hiding it that some of our colleagues thought we didn’t even like each other. Ileana is a very structured and disciplined individual which balances me out as a laid back person. I also admire her for always striving to be the best at all that she encounters in life. She is one of the most well rounded and sincere girls I have ever met in my life. I have the utmost respect for her as a person and I know that our children one day will be proud to have her as their mother. This is just one of the many reasons I decided to propose to her two and a half years after we met.

Ileana and Paco, thanks so much for blessing me with your presence and for trusting me to capture the essence and magic of your love. Aba and I wish you the best in your future together.

Ileana and Paco are an awesome and unique couple both fun loving and out going, their cheerful and upbeat personalities, had us splitting our sides. They have dated for almost three years and only recently got engaged, we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to photograph their e-session at Old town Alexandria. In the summer of 2010, Ileana and Paco will be exchanging rings and vows.

Chioma & Seun: Engaged

Love is the fluid on the tip of the arrow of a cute chubby cherub, Seun’s heart was pierced by its tip, as he beheld Chioma’s ebony beauty, His heart pounding, his feelings came alive, the arrow had been fired and its fluid coursed through his veins. Seun was looking at wedding pictures when he saw Chioma’s face smiling at him, he inquired as to who the hot chick was, her sister proudly announced her as her younger sister, eager to know more he inquired if she was single, the answer was yes. Seun planned his course of action, he did not want to be match made instead he chose to woo Chioma on his own via social networking and bonding – during a movie, over dinner and late night conversation.

In his words: To every twist and turn in life there is always a bit of irony. It is amazing how two different people from different places with different lifestyles can have so much in common. Chioma is a gift from God; my encounter with Chioma was with God’s intervention because she has been nothing but a blessing to my life. From the very moment I met Chioma I knew she was exceptional, and as time went on, it became clear that she is God sent as she has brought a whole new meaning of love, peace, and happiness to me. Since the beginning of our relationship together, I have seen nothing but good things happen in my life, and for this reason, I can testify that God must have created her just for me. From the beginning of our courtship,we decided we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Chioma has shown me the true picture of love, a love that is kind, a love that is gentle, a love that is God fearing and a love that supports. I proposed during her birthday celebration, she said yes, and the rest is history.

My relationship with Chioma depicts that love is not blind. It has seen all the virtues and flaws and weighed up how much I’d like to be with her through “thick and thin”. We have grown and are continuing to grow together. She is my source of encouragement and the cornerstone of my happiness and I will trade everything in this world and the world to come to be with her. We have become best friends and the excitement is ever growing. We share common interests and realize communication and honesty is the key to our future. And we acknowledge that this is definitely God’s relationship and He will always be first and foremost in our journey as husband and wife.

Aba and I look forward to shooting Chioma and Seun’s wedding in October and we cant but wish them the best of God’s favor, love, peace, fruitfulness and eternal joy.
