I woke up this morning feeling refreshed and very thankful for a wonderful night’s rest on a pillow top mattress, I wag my finger at those of you who wonder what the big deal is, as I wag my finger, note I am also sucking my teeth. When I met DH Aba…all he had in his apartment was a worn futon and a saggy air mattress – whenever I visited we slept on the futon, because Aba likes to watch TV before falling asleep – I snort and briefly suck teeth- I usually awoke with a sore neck and aching muscles and would pray for the weekend to come to an end, so I could race back to my comfy bed in new york.
One day, he proposed and I accepted and soon we were living in our beautiful apartment and sleeping on an air mattress- this wasn’t too bad, it was more comfy than the stinky worn futon but alas one day – I woke up lop-sided, with my head on the floor and my feet in the air – you guessed it – our air mattress had a hole – as I sniffled and rubbed my sore neck, Aba (sigh) tried to find a sealant to repair our air mattress with. Thankfully he found none…and so it was off to Mattress Discounters to get us a new bed. Thankfully that has been many sleep cycles away, I am so thankful for a new mattress, new sleeping styles and cushy comfortness.
I am thankful for other things – for our lives and good health, for our finances and family, for our business and shelter, for answered prayers and restored faith, for clients and friend. I am thankful for indeed God is good…All the time…
Since pictures make me smile. Here is one which I thought to share
