Details in a wedding are a photographer’s dream, simplicity and creativity is key – colorful also tends to be eye-catching. Details at a wedding tell a story of the couples’ interests, their desires and subtly casts glimpses of their home. This weekend I assisted a local florist: Ginger of The Glass Garden Shoppe in photographing fresh flowers decorations she made for a water-side wedding .The bride specifically insisted on using fresh flowers in her favorite colors of purple, green and cream, I loved the fall theme and colors used, everything worked together for good on their special day – the wind was cool and soothing, the birds chirped in harmony with the music that flowed from the harp and above all peace and love surrounded them as they repeated their vows amongst friends and family. I enjoyed the simplicity of this wedding immensely, I can only hope the next wedding I photograph will be as beautiful and peaceful.
- The bridesmaids’ flowers – tres cute
- The groomsmen’s flowers – simple
- Love this arrangement, hors d’oeuvres were later placed on this table
- Love the simplicity of the flowers, they sort of look like gatekeepers
