Across the vast acres of their college grounds, there was no reason for Jennifer and Kunle to ever cross paths, after all they had come separately as individuals to study, but in a single instant fate played a card and they were brought together swiftly, surely and with purpose. Their relationship blossomed easily and naturally, first as friends they went on numerous dates – meeting up casually for dinner on campus, grabbing a hot dog on the school lawns, beat boxing with Cheetos, easily and naturally they became a couple.
As a couple, their chemistry fascinated even them, he made her laugh she made him smile and he never made her cry except with joy. Neither of them could imagine their relationship heading in any other direction – swiftly, surely and with purpose, Kunle asked Jennifer to come out with him for a night of dancing and fun, she agreed. She was glad she did for that was the night he proposed, her eyes sprang with tears as she saw her ring glitter with the stars above.
