Over cold cups of coffee, through lunch breaks and sleepy bed times – a sense of love and hope was created, a friendship was developed, Doreen and Darnlyen connected. They arranged a date which was so fabulous more followed, eventually a love so deep was built. Often, Doreen reminisced on what she had been told by friends, she recalled in her mind how she had often heard that when you meet The One, you just know. She knew.
On a cool and balmy night with a full moon in sight, after a romantic evening of dining and dancing Doreen and Darnlyen were walking to their car,when suddenly Darnlyen started fussing with his shoes -Doreen eager to get home -told him firmly to either take off his shoes or fix them. Darnlyen did exactly that and then a little more, he pulled out a ring and asked Doreen to be his wife. As she happily accepted, glowing with joy she realised – He also knew she was The One.
