Couple’s First Dance

Life throws stuff at you pretty fast, first you are born, then you are growing teeth, then you are sitting on the couch wondering when your feet will ever touch the ground, then you are walking through life; over people; through open doors of opportunities; in and out of lives; on pedestals; then one day it stops and you find out you want to dance, locked in the love in the arms of your partner, to the tune of the music that life plays for you, to the beat of the drums that are life’s obstacles, to the tune of the heartbeat of your happiness. You just want to dance.

Last year I attended many weddings, as a second shooter, as a guest and as a spectator…and it always was the same, when it was time for the couple’s first dance, after being pronounced as husband and wife, the room would grow still, voices hushed, the music would start slowly, growing in volume to swirl around the couple, enveloping them in its lyrics, in its tune, in its beat, speaking meaning to them and to their life ahead. Truly a sacred moment of a deeper unspoken communication between husband and wife…

Here is some eye candy from a wedding, I attended last year, shot in very low light with no flash at an ISO of 3200
